This 1993 AM General M35A3 is a 2 1⁄2-ton military cargo truck that was acquired by its current owner in 2006 and is said to have been used as a background vehicle in the 2011 film Super 8. Finished in camouflage, the rig is powered by a Caterpillar 6.6-liter turbodiesel inline-six linked to an Allison four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. It rolls on 20" steel wheels with a Central Tire Inflation System (C.T.I.S.) and is further equipped with a rear canopy, dual rear axles, inward-facing rear jump seats, and a cab heater. This "deuce-and-a-half" is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Virginia title in the name of the owner's trust.
